Greg Huebner

Greg W. Huebner has been involved in real estate since 2004, when he purchased and renovated his first duplex property himself. Since then, he’s grown his portfolio to almost 400 units worth over $8m.
As a student of real estate and credit creation economic cycles, Greg recognized that the 2020 pandemic was the mid-cycle “pause” that allowed real estate prices to increase. He leveraged that knowledge and strategically liquidated all but 1 property in 2021 to dramatically upgrad his portfolio in late 2021 and early 2022.

Greg’s other area of expertise is extracting unseen value through renovations, operational improvements, or maximizing revenue per square foot across a variety of real estate types.

With this value-creation philosophy, Greg has taken his almost 2 decades of experience and founded Ethos Capital Ventures LLC (ECV) where we look for strategic investments by applying our proprietary underwriting and business acumen to allow us to outperform the competition. This unique perspective in the marketplace has allowed our investors to consistently obtain outsized returns.

Chief Operating Officer

James Gregg

James Gregg started in real estate during the Great Recession of 2008/2009 as a general contractor. After recovering from his early losses, he dusted himself off and continued on, gaining experience in construction, property management, investment analysis, acquisitions, lending, and commercial appraisal. His knowledge of a variety of roles in the industry often allows him to connect the dots where others may not, and leverage that experience to create outsized returns.

As an investor, James focuses on deep value-add opportunities in multifamily and self-storage properties, creating over $1 million in personal equity in his first 30 months as a commercial investor. He also enjoys bringing order from chaos in his role at Ethos Capital Ventures, most recently spearheading the firm’s venture into partnering with an industry-leading expert on a niche area of government contracts that overlaps well with the firm’s history of combining value creation, social good, and real estate investing.
